There are many ways to gather traffic to our blog. And one of this techniques is called guest posting. This technique was used by many successful blogger in order to expand the area of their field of blogging related specializations and at the same time, to share their effective ideas to other blogs as one of the content contributor.

What is guest post?

Guest post is a way of sharing your ideas whether it is an article, audio podcast, or a video which is posted or shared to other blogs.

What are the advantages of doing guest post?

There are several advantages of doing this type of strategy some of these are below;

1. Build relations to other blogger.

2. Expand the area of your specialization through your pillar articles.

3. Build back links directly to your blog.

4. Build trust with your readers and other blogger.

5. Build credibility to your blogging field.

6. Gain traffic to your blog.

7. To be recommended by other other great blogger etc…

How to approach other blogger to be their guest post contributor?

For newbie bloggers that don’t have a big name in their area of blogging specialization, it’s hard to build the trust with other blogger as one of their content contributor. It takes time to convince other blogger as their article contributor especially those blogs that has already a big name in the blogosphere like problogger.net or other great blogs out there. So what should do?

1. Be patient on convincing or approaching them.

2. Submit your pillar articles to them.

3. Keep on submitting your articles.

4. Build a name on your blogging area of specialization.

5. Tell them what you can contribute to their blog.

6. Communicate with them through comments.

7. Send them emails. (Be aware of the time you send your emails)

Those are the basic strategy of guest posting. But for some reasons that they won’t accept your articles and you want to share your articles to other blogs, then I am willing to accept your precious articles as long as it is related to this blog’s niche.

Requirements for your posts to be eligible:

* A minimum of 250-300 words per article

* Uniquely written by the author

* Exclusive for this blog only (Means that you can’t post it anywhere else)

* Affiliate links are allowed but Plz., not that much!

* You can put Author Box at the top or bottom of the post with link pointing to your site(if you wish)
