How to put a rotating text link above your blog’s header?
We are always impress to other blogs with their informative contents and some nice features on their template. These features can add their professionalism and their visitors will encourage to have a tour on their blog. Sometimes you are hoping that you have that features in your blog.
There are many blog templates out there especially for blogger/wordpress blog template that have many amazing features and a SEO friendly codings, they called it premium templates. The fact that you will have to buy that template and the problem is you don’t have money to purchase that great product, but if you have the money you can buy it. For some reasons people prefer to create a blog in blogger.com because of it’s free hosting but you must used their subdomain name the blogspot.com you can also buy a domain name if you have to.
Some of the features that amazed me is the text link rotation above your blog header just like mine. This link is the first one to load whenever your visitors visit your blog. Even though it is only a small text link, most visitors always noticed it because they are rotating or moving. So their eyes will look to that text link, grab their attention and might explore what is behind in that text link. Is it that great?
I thought this feature is only for wordpress blog users only. But still I really want to add that feature in my blog, so I made some research and found useful website. This website didn’t teach me what part of my blog’s template code will be place so that it can be visible above the blog’s header. But that place was already discovered by me when I editted my blog template code two weeks ago. So I know now where to place that code but I don’t know how to constract that rotating text link code.
Today I will teach you how that feature can be add in your blogger template. Please follow the instructions below;
1. Visit this website. In this page you can find many boxes and fill that boxes with the url of your link and the text of your link. You can also customized the font size, font color and font style. You can also set a time interval before other text link rotates.
2. After you have done customizing your links, scroll down until you find the “Generate” button and click that button. A page will pop up or open in the tab and copy that code.
3. Now, open your blogger blog dashboard and and click the “Layout” text and will be send to the next page.
4. Click that “Edit HTML” tab and you will be send to the coding area of your blogger blog template.
5. Check the “Expand Widget Template box” so that the codes of your widget will be visible. Copy your HTML code and paste it on a notepad. That code is set as your back up whener you made some mistakes on editting.
6. Maybe you already knew what is comment tag right? But in case you don’t know, I will post a screenshot image below after some instructions.
7. Open the text link generated codes from the website I gave you and copy it. Paste that code above, below or with in that comment tag. You have a choice make sure you only choose only one. But I suggest to put that code below so you the comment tag, so can determine what code is that for. In my case I case it above the comment tag. You can see the screenshot below.
8. You might notice that it is located at the left of your page, so I added a center tag from the beginning of the code and at the end of the code. So must enclosed the code with the center tag so that it can be place at the center of the above header of your blog. See example on the screenshot below.
9. After you have done, click the preview button for trial exposure. If you are satisfied you can now “publish” it to the public. And successfully done.
